He's got his charm and his voice actor does a wonderful job portraying just the hint of flaming gay that I adore him. Hammerlock himself is one of my favorite characters. No wonder it gives the best SMG in the game as compensation. The "Whoops" quest is definitely, definitely filler. But overall, you can finish it in 2 hours and there's not much left to do after you power through the slog that is the compass hunt. There are some hilarious moments, especially everything to do with C3NS0R-B0T. The person who wrote him is just disturbed. He's fucking disturbing and I'd shoot him the minute I saw that he was voicing the dead bodies. Herbert in particular is just so one note and disgusting. Whoever wrote Scarlett's DLC has an obsession with making uncomfortable characters for no real reason other than to make then shocking. While Dragon Keep has the best example of this, when the hunters gatekeep him from playing just cuz he's muscle bound and not a typical nerd, there are some good moments here as well. Torgue fascinates me as he's a totally progressive male trapped in needing to have the image of being a toxic male. ![]() Definitely some love and care went into it, but Brina Palencia seriously phoned it in as Moxxi, and she's one of the main characters. She's just hurting and using the game to cope and everyone is trying their best to help her. I think that the Vault Hunters using Tina for her skills is the most evil thing they do, but it's her choice and she has to learn the reality that not everyone makes it. Dragon Keep also was incredibly touching in terms of story, even if it did feel a bit padded in the middle. Additional miscellaneous balance tweaks. As a Player and aspiring DM, Dragon Keep is the fondest love letter to DnD I've seen basically ever. ![]()
